Technium OpTIC Fibrespeed

We are currently not in a position to resell bandwidth at data centre rates within the OpTIC Technium. Optropeneurs have advised us that this would compete directly with the WAG provided connectivity that is shared within the building.

FibreSpeed's Open Access network has a core backbone stretching from Manchester Gateway to Holyhead and Caernarfon with Points of Presence initially at 12 business parks and local area fibre access, allowing service providers to exploit the network and meet business demand in these areas. Phase one will focus on linking up 12 strategic business parks in North Wales, with subsequent phases being developed to cover other areas of Wales.

We are currently undertaking a partial migration of our infrastructure and services from the data centres of Manchester to our newly established hosting environment here at OpTIC.

In doing so we will be taking a Fibrespeed tail from the primary point of presence behind the building, and delivering symmetrical enterprise bandwidth to our offices, and racks within the building.

Through this infrastructure we will in turn be later able to deliver quality bandwidth to the Technium OpTIC network, and therefore your incubator / offices.

We can deliver this alongside services, or colocation (Manchester or St Asaph), or just plain connectivity with speeds from symmetrical 10Mbit to 1Gbit depending on your needs. Billing at either pay as you go or commited data rates depending on the size of the feed / contract, and at prices close to those found between providers (scaling under £30Mbit/pm)
